            Q Can this machine remove the internal stresses that cause distortion after laser cutting?

            A Absolutely. A primary function of the Model 30 is stress relief. By subjecting the material to alternating bending cycles, it redistributes the internal residual stresses caused by the coiling process. This ensures that when you laser cut the sheet later, the part remains dimensionally stable and does not warp or twist when removed from the skeleton.

          • Is the setup complicated? Our operators change material thickness frequently.

            We designed the Model 30 for ease of use. It features a CNC touchscreen interface with "recipe" capabilities. Operators can save parameters for different materials (e.g., 0.5mm copper, 1.2mm steel). When switching jobs, the machine automatically adjusts the roll gap and leveling speed, reducing setup time from 20 minutes to under 2 minutes.

          • We produce small electronic components. Can this machine handle very short blanks?

            Yes, the Model 30 is optimized for high-mix, low-volume production. It features a short workpiece feed capability, able to stabilize and level blanks as short as 60mm (depending on width). This is crucial for electronics manufacturers needing to process small shields or connectors without wasting material on long leader coils.

          • How does the machine handle the "edge wave" common in thin coils?

            Thin materials often suffer from tension variations that cause wavy edges. The Model 30 utilizes a dense roll configuration (21 rolls) with smaller diameter rolls. This design allows for a tighter bending radius, effectively stretching the fibers at the edges of the sheet to match the length of the center fibers, thereby eliminating edge waves and ensuring the blank lies perfectly flat on the die.

          • Will the leveling process leave roller marks or scratches on my polished or coated sheets?

            This is a primary concern for finish-critical applications. The Model 30 is equipped with precision-ground work rolls that can be optionally chrome-plated or coated with a specialized non-marking material (such as polyurethane) upon request. This ensures that even highly reflective stainless steel or pre-painted galvanized sheets emerge with a pristine surface, free from the indentation or scratching often caused by inferior leveling equipment.
